Just so everyone knows, 4 hours sleep is not enough. I think I saw a beautiful sunrise this morning, but it may have actually been on my way up to my tent last night.

Another warm, dry night anyway; I'm quite impressed with how water, wind and snow-proof my current configuration is. It amazes me how much and how quickly I've learned. It's helped to regularly get advice from friends, but there's been lots of trial and error too. I'd like to apologize to school for all of the learning I haven't been doing there; my brain is too full of survival thinking. I've just proved (and shown where I am on) Maslow's Needs Hierarchy!

Just remember that safety and security is only one step below love and belonging. Master that and you could be receiving plenty of bear hugs.

You are finally allowing me to comment without registering! Sweet!

Maslow' needs. Nice. And all this time I thought you were getting dumber the longer you went to school.

I don't think Survivorman has anything to worry about. Of course, you're better looking than him!
Hope we see you when the snow thaws!
Love, Aunt Sue
